The thunder of moving light
Carin at Matilda Magtree writes about skies that are impossible to ignore. I can’t ignore the one I saw yesterday in the late afternoon, in the west. When you look at it, do you see a story? Do you hear one? Do you feel it?
I don’t paint (yet) but I would like to try to paint this sky. Maybe it’s because I’ve replaced almost all of the political sites on my Facebook news feed with artist pages. Maybe it’s because I’m galvanized by the ocean paintings of Charlotte Turner.
Maybe it’s just time.

From the Dark, comes Light.
The balance of opposites.
Paint!!
(Just looked up Charlotte Turner. My god, I love work. Thank you!)
I know, right? I love the way some of her seascapes look like waterfalls. I love the colours she uses. It makes me want to dive in (to the paintings and to painting).
I love HER work, that should read.
But I’ll bet you knew that.
(:
And here I thought you just loved work. 😉
